A leading financial services company in Stellenbosch is currently seeking a Junior Financial Accountant to join their finance department. Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role encompasses all responsibilities related to financial accounting, including the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial data. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills. Strong financial acumen, along with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, is essential. Capturing source data. Assist with accounting until trial balance. Preparing reconciliation of accounting records to third party statements. Fee invoice generation. Assist with debtors, creditors and monthly reports. All other tasks related to the role. Relevant financialpost-graduate qualification (completed SAIPA/CIMA articles beneficial). 1-2 years experience in a financial processing role. Knowledge of financial systems such as SAGE and Business Central accounting package experience is beneficial. Previous financial/payments industry experience advantage.
