Krakeelriver/ Joubertina Area, Langkloof – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a candidate with ownership mentality and who is willing to start at the bottom and work their way up. Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous Previous farming experience with livestock essential Knowledge of irrigation essential A person who can think on their feet and can independently make a plan Willingness to learn Strong communications skills must have self-confidence and be able to work with people. Punctuality and good management are of utmost importance Ability to motivate and work with staff Maintenance orientated advantageous Must be willing to work shifts Valid driver’s license RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Full responsibility for broilers pigs and sheep farming. On the fruit side, take control of the irrigation and fertilization. This includes collecting all data and working out feed turnover and the management of good practices with regard to chicken farming. The chickens will be his main focus for the whole year. Irrigation and fertilization are seasonal but must also be managed well and correctly. In season, water is regularly pumped at weekends and the manager is expected to do this and take care.
