Junior Project Manager (12-month fixed term contract/Hybrid) About the Role: Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join their dynamic team in the banking industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, tracking, monitoring, and controlling activities of small projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, quality standards, and budget parameters. Key Responsibilities: Plan, track, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion and alignment with project goals. Control project scope, quality, and costs using project methodologies. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, schedules, and budgets. Support senior project managers in executing larger projects as needed. Foster a collaborative team environment and manage project team members effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Proven experience in project management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of project methodologies. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2). 2-5 years project management experience
