The purpose of this job is to create, capture all new appointments, resignations on Sage 300 People System. Maintain all applicable staff data and record keeping on all applicable systems and do all payroll reconciliations. Accurate PAYE submissions so as not to incur penalties Timeous removal of employees from Medical Aid when they resign/ leave Close monitoring of Web SS processed Overtime, Standby Allowance & Site Spotting claims Accurate capturing of payroll transactions on Sage 300 People Preparation of monthly Payroll files Capturing of payments on FNB timeously & accurately Discovery Recons and Payments Provident fund, life & Income protection recons Salary deductions payments Prepare Leave & Bonus provision schedules & Recons Prepare & Process salary Journals UIF Submissions GL Accounts Recons (Salary Control & Staff Loans) Process PAYE Recons Mail Journals and TTFs & AD to Finance UIF Submissions Preparation and submission of EMP201s and EMP501s Reconciling Salary control accounts. A minimum of Matric or any relevant Tertiary qualification A minimum 3 to 5 years proven experience in Payroll Must be computer literate, and very proficient on Sage 300 People and Pastel Capacity to acquire knowledge within reasonable time and able to do the job. Must be reliable, trustworthy and have analytical skills. R18 000 CTC
