JUNIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (Automotive Component Industry) - Pretoria East R 27 000 per month CTC Automotive component manufacturer in Pretoria East is looking to employ a Junior Product Development Engineer. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1 – 3 years' experience in manufacturing / automotive industry. BEng – Mechanical Engineering Degree. Experience in quality system TS and ISO requirements. Experience with Production, Tooling, R&D, Industrialisation, PPAP (Project Part Approval Process). MS Office, MS Access, MS Visio, SQL programming, Syspro ERP System. Duties Monitoring of the product development process from concept development, prototyping, testing and commercialisation. Develop tooling line-up information to feed into costing and Project Team. Create comprehensive tooling plan and track timeline and suppliers. Commission and perform try-outs with tool / jig / checking gauges / welding jigs. Create and maintain maintenance standards and tool specifications. Liaise and communicate with client on all Project and Engineering related requirements and concerns. Assist with New Project Part Approval Process (PPAP). Review tool design and implement continuous improvement.
