Junior Quality Control Inspector - South Africa
Reading blueprints and specifications Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced. Measuring products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometres. Operating electronic inspection equipment and software. Removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications. Reporting inspection and testing data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected. Ensure quality control reporting and record keeping is maintained. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Quality control course/certificates will be advantageous. Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Skills: Must have exceptional computer literacy (Microsoft Excel is essential). Knowledge of policy and procedure. Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques. Willingness to learn. Must have a positive attitude. Timely and well organized. Excellent observation and analytical skills. Good technical skills.
