Job Responsibilities:
1. Identify potential leads through research, networking, and outreach
2. Develop targeted sales pitches and presentations
3. Sell equipment, products, and solutions using technical knowledge and commercial experience
4. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, predicting their future needs
5. Negotiate contracts and review sales performance
6. Coordinate and monitor enquiries, quotations, orders, and deliveries
7. Stay updated with industry developments and share relevant knowledge
8. Understand technical aspects of our products and solutions and propose these benefits to customers
9. Work closely with design, production, engineering, and R&D departments to tailor products/services to customer needs
10. Expand sales territories and devise strategies for product marketing
11. Monitor targeted and actual sales to determine marketing support needed
12. Conduct market research by gathering and analysing competitive information
13. Identify new sales and marketing channels and technologies to promote business

Entry Requirements:
- 4+ years of sales experience in a technical or engineering environment
- Background in selling electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; fluency in French is an advantage
- Capacity to handle a fast-paced work environment, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work under pressure
- Excellent computer skill
Salary: R 15 000 - R 20 000 p/m, plus commission
