Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify potential leads and conduct relevant research, networking, and outreach.
2. Develop targeted sales pitches and presentations.
3. Sell equipment, products, and solutions to prospective and current clients using technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
4. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and anticipate future requirements.
5. Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and review sales performance.
6. Coordinate, assign, and monitor allocated enquiries, quotations, orders, projects, and deliveries.
7. Stay updated on the latest developments in the industry and impart this knowledge to clients.
8. Collaborate with internal departments to tailor products and services according to customer needs.
9. Expand sales territories.
10. Develop strategies to market products and deliver a superior customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales-related experience within a technical or engineering environment.
- Proven experience selling electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment to mines, municipalities, and construction companies.
- Fluency in English - knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong sales, project management, and networking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team and perform under pressure.
Salary: R35 000 - R50 000
