With a background as a bespoke POP company, they have expanded to become a leading retail agency, working across Africa and beyond. They specialise in understanding Brands, Trade, Category, and Shopper to bring their clients' visions to life. This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Director located in Johannesburg. The Account Director will be responsible for managing key client accounts, leading and motivating a team, and driving sales growth. They will also oversee project management and ensure the successful execution of in-store experiences that connect brands with shoppers. Marketing and Business Qualification - Marketing or Business Administration or related field It is essential to have proven marketing and advertising agency experience BTL experience is a must It is essential to have the proven experience in the development of brand plans and or strategies Position brands in direct alignment with the shoppers and consumers Demonstrated ability to increase the demand at the wholesaler, retailer or distributor Account Management and Sales skills is imperative for the success of this position Project Management skills and experience is essential and able to manage projects through multiple teams Proven and demonstrated experience in complex selling environments, being able to sell concepts backed up by the presentation of designed products. The ability to interact with a number of different stakeholders and navigate between multiple relationships, preferably in a corporate environment Be able to think quickly on their feet, quickly revert to past experiences, and provide a few options for a solution.
