As the Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for growing market share, driving strategic commercial initiatives, and concluding sales of the company's range of Fire & Life Safety products and solutions within the assigned territory. A strong emphasis will be on upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Your role will ensure the company's principal products and services achieve maximum exposure and that set sales targets and goals are met. You will build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships, with a particular focus on key accounts, especially in the mining industry. Creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities relating to the company's range of Fire & Life Safety products and solutions and closing sales orders within the set geographical boundaries. Establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives in coordination with the company's leadership team. Working closely with the Pre-Sales engineering team to help define how our solutions are designed and deployed. Providing product and sales training to customers and helping them understand our solutions and service offering. Articulating the specific requirements of the customers to the company's technical and operations departments and vice versa to ensure that the expectations of both parties are adequately managed. Staying abreast of competitors, new opportunities, and industry trends by researching industry events, publications, and announcements. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the mining industry. Identifying and targeting key accounts in the mining sector to promote and sell Fire & Life Safety equipment. Understanding the unique safety challenges and needs of the mining industry to tailor solutions accordingly. Conducting site visits and safety assessments to provide customised solutions for mining clients. Coordinating with technical teams to ensure the successful deployment and integration of Fire & Life Safety systems in mining environments. Offering post-sales support and ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Knowledge of Addressable and Conventional fire detection systems as well as public address, voice alarm, intruder alarms, video surveillance, and related safety systems. Knowledge of fire suppression systems. Willingness to travel extensively within Sub-Sahara Africa and LATAM. At least 50% travel. A valid passport. PSIRA registration. SAQCC Fire registration as either Installer, Commissioner, or Designer will be advantageous. 5 years industry experience with 5 years' experience in a technical sales environment. Experience in the mining vertical will be advantageous. R75 000.00 per month commission
