Generating sales from existing businesses – Grow Key Accounts. Manage Key Accounts – Ensure that customers receive their stock OTIF (On time and in Full) Introducing and growing the product categories/brands within the Select PPE portfolio including House Brands Maintain a high standard of Customer Service and work on continually improving Customer relationships. Generating Sales From Existing Businesses Research: Obtain knowledge on existing customers Market research and analysis done at each customer to identify risks and opportunities by using methods such as the internet, social media e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and or other material such as industry specific magazines and books. Needs to understand who the decision maker is of implementing and buying PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) i.e. Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager, Occupational Hygienist, Buyer etc. Identify the size of potential business that could be generated out of each customer. Needs to understand the structure of the targeted customer i.e. number of staff using PPE, what PPE is being used on site, identifying competitors currently supplying the targeted customer. Identifying the needs of the customer Performing and compiling a PPE Assessment whereby the needs of the customer is identified as well as education on PPE is provided to the customer. Identifying and recommending suitable PPE for each application performed on site. Providing samples to trial and test (should it be required) for the customer to provide feedback. Training at customer level Provide training schedules according to the customers' needs and time frames on various aspects of PPE to the end-user. Target: On request of client. Time frame: 2 weeks' minimum (depending on magnitude and scope of the client's needs). Customer appointments/visitations Plan and schedule meetings with existing customers bi-weekly and monthly. Achieving annual and monthly budgets agreed upon Targets set out need to be achieved. Should a monthly target not be achieved the remaining amount will be added to the new month in order to ensure that yearly budgets are achieved. KPI's: Achieving monthly and yearly budgets Ensure Account Reviews on Key Accounts are done weekly Weekly account reviews need to be completed and updated weekly (before weekly sales meetings are held. As per Master Report and OTIF per account KPI's: Key Accounts – Admin Function Schedule weekly Key Accounts and admin meetings with Team Weekly meetings need to be held every Friday with the whole sales team for your region. Master Report to be discussed. Relevant support required will be identified within this meeting as well as customer updates. Update and submit monthly reports Complete and submit Weekly reports to the Sales Directore before the last day of each month. The report needs to have in-depth information on progress for the month in terms of competitor analysis, growth or decline of sales for the month and reasons behind it, performance/progress report on each Sales Representative/Sales Executive, updates on customers and where assistance is needed. Training/Up-skilling of Sales Representatives/Sales Executives Must provide training to all new representatives/executives to ensure that they understand company policies and procedures, product knowledge, customer interaction, company systems etc. Must also attend relevant training provided by suppliers as well as internal training to ensure that the skills and knowledge of the Regional Sales Manager is updated and refreshed. KPI's: Product knowledge of suppliers as well as Select PPE product portfolio. Generating quotations and following up on initial orders being placed and ensuring stock is delivered and invoiced. Ensuring that initial orders that are placed are followed through and that required stock is purchased/ordered and that stock is delivered within the required time frame as promised to the customer as well as invoiced. Customer Service Ensuring that customer service is adhered to and followed through always . Must be able to crisis manage and deal with clients on all levels. Monthly Meetings Must attend all weekly/monthly meetings held with Sales Director and CEO. Monthly reports must be completed and submitted before monthly meetings are held. Growing His/Her Region By 20% Year On Year Annual budgets will be based on prior year and would be expected to increase by a minimum of 20% year on year. The Key Accounts Sales and Admin manager is required to grow his/her region by a minimum of 20% year on year. Measures will be put in place to ensure that the this is met and that he/she falls within KPI's set. Introducing And Growing The Select PPE Brand and The Product Categories/Brands Within The Select PPE Portfolio Key Accounts Sales and Admin Manger is required to introduce the PPE brand to existing customers and provide in house brands as alternatives. Other Duties and Responsibilities Customer Database Must keep an updated record of all existing customers as well as all communication between Select PPE and the customer. Reports Completed and Updated weekly and Monthly by Team members. Must ensure that all reports are up to date and completed by each team member. This will provide you with relevant information on how to assist your employee and where there may be some growth opportunities. Staff Employment Must be able to scout and identify potential candidates as well as conduct first interviews with the potential candidates. Once a candidate has gone through the 1 st round of interviews and 2 nd interview must be conducted with the Sales Director. Staff Files/Records A file must be kept of each candidate which will include job description, records of all training that has been provided and any other relevant documentation. Other Must be able to multitask and work under pressure. Must be able to travel from time to time and perform duties outside of his/her normal job requirements. Must be creative and think out of the box. Must be a team player and must assist where and when required. Must be able to identify a need within the market regarding product, pricing, marketing and business opportunities. Must a be leader by nature and assist by guiding and training new team members. Must be focused on Customer retention and growing accounts a) Matric Essential. b) Sales/Admin Certification/Diploma c) Post graduate qualification is advantageous a) Minimum 4 years in similar position b) Proven successful sales track record c) HR Management d) Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle a) Good organising skills b) Deadline orientated and ability to work under stress.
