What You Can Expect The incumbent professionally plans, organizes, directs, co-ordinates and controls the receipt, storage distribution of finished goods products in accordance with the Company's marketing, distribution service, and cost objectives and storage procedures. The Kit Build & Inventory controller is responsible for maintaining Kit Build & inventory level accuracy. You will perform manage and process daily activities, analyse inventory data, and ensure accuracy of inventory records. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist in developing and implement inventory control procedures and policies, as well as assist in the ordering and replenishment of inventory. In this role will establish and implements cycle count plans according to company guidelines, supporting the Kit Build & Inventory Supervisor. Run reports and analyze inventory inaccuracies and trends. Reconciles inaccuracies and researches to find the root cause of inventory discrepancies. Works with materials, procurement, finance, across-functional warehouse to rectify issues with kit build & inventory counts. All this is achieved with the support of SAP systems, and other integrated software, by which the operation is driven. Must be able to competently handle conflict in inter departmental as well as within own department. How You'll Create Impact - Execute special projects of continuous improvement assigned to the warehouse regarding Kit Build & Inventory by the Supervisor. - Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and assist in updates as and when necessary. - Maintain accurate perpetual inventory records through the administration of the cycle count process with the teams. - Coordinate with procurement teams and Inventory teams to ensure the timely flow of items to support the Kit build and Loaner teams, in replacements. - Ensure conformance to safety regulations in the warehouse. - Support and maintains assigned NC's, action plans, CAPA action, RGA. - Ensure products are available to maintain smooth operation for loaner center. - Control the distribution plant such that it complies with company policy. - When excess inventory lists are generated from operations, provide the required feedback on disposition, example RGA, expired inventory, short dated stock Key Functions/Tasks: - Building of Kit when instruments are available. - Monitor sets taken out off rotation - Monitor incoming goods, aiming to build and complete, incomplete kits. - Assist in system deployments of Kits - Monitor all cycle count programs and ensure consistency and accuracy in time and identify all operational problems in inventory. - Maintain records of all variances according to establish procedures and ensure accuracy of all product transfers from one facility to other. - Prepare and update all required paperwork for vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories, sets and resolve any issues in time. - Monitor all procurement requests of facilities and ensure accuracy in all inbound inventory and maintain records. - Provide training to across functional staff (when requested) on processes and adjustments. - Administer all return shipments of customers in case of any shortages and damages and communicate to vendor. - Ensure stock putaways, picking (outbound) and receiving (inbound) all materials and arrange for all shipments as per requirement. - Monitor and ensure accuracy of Kit Building / inventory transactions and maintain records of all locations. - Train employees and staff on kit build control processes according to manual and update processes if required. - Task / responsible is not limited to this role Other responsibilities - Ensure good housekeeping at all times - Comply with health and safety standards - Comply with all SOP's and Works Instructions - Need to work overtime and shifts when required - Work weekends as and when required - Staff training What Makes You Stand Out - Kit Build & Inventory Management Experience cycle counting, reporting, variance analysis - Familiar with Root cause analysis - Knowledge of lean tools such as 5S, etc. - SAP knowledge - WMS Knowledge in preferred Your Background - Degree or Diploma with Logistics / Supply Chain preferred - 1-3 years' Experience required in Warehousing - Lean Management Experience & certification Travel Expectations EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability Apply Now
