Logistics Consultant - Stellenbosch

Our client, a market leader in logistics solutions in Southern Africa, is passionate about connecting businesses to the global marketplace and delivering exceptional customer service. They are looking for a talented Logistics Consultant to join their team!
In this role, you will:
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Negotiate and secure profitable contracts with clients and transport providers.
- Manage allocated volumes and optimize transportation efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and adapt strategies to changing conditions.
- Oversee daily and monthly budgets, ensuring profitability.
- Proactively communicate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the supply chain.
To be successful, you'll have:
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics or a similar role within the transport industry.
- A relevant qualification (degree or diploma) in logistics or a related field (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of the road transport industry in Southern Africa.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and logistics software.
- A willingness to travel and solve problems after hours.
