The individual will be responsible to assist in coordinating the support fleet and LDV's including, plan pick-up routes and prioritize as required. Coordination of Drivers and report all deviances to the planner and ensuring stock control, issue and receiving of materials, and routable components to enable an effective support for the site functions. Fleet Control: Daily fleet management/control and ensure that you have an updated fleet list at all times. Develop contingency plans to cater for unplanned events with our LDV and truck fleet. Damage assessment of vehicles and control od spare keys and the use thereof Parts Delivery Plan and control vehicles picking up and delivering parts in a timeous manner, the right parts to the right delivery points. Prioritize according to urgency levels. Give weekly reports and feedback on utilization of vehicles and transport equipment with timekeeping of drivers Warehouse Management Assist warehouse supervisor to ensure demands are met of all internal customers Ensure effective Inbound and Outbound Product and transport cycle times Audits on monthly stock takes within stores Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to always ensure availability and optimize stock holding. oversee and assist with logistics utilized to transport products to Users and internal facilities Educational: National Senior Certificate Valid Driver's License Tertiary qualification in Warehouse Management Certificates in Supply Chain Management / Logistics will be advantageous Experience: At least 5 years' experience in a similar designation Proven experience with Warehouse Management and Inventory Control with extensive logistic management Knowledge of relevant warehouse regulations and ISO requirements Market Related
