Area/Location: Germiston

Position Overview: As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of artisans and managing the maintenance of all industrial machinery within our clients facility. Your expertise will drive the efficiency and reliability of our production processes, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum output.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate a team of skilled artisans in the maintenance department.
Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules.
Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of machinery to identify potential issues.
Oversee repairs, installations, and upgrades of equipment as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machinery performance.
Monitor inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Trade tested electromechanician or Millwright
Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
Ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies to meet operational goals.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure
