An opportunity has arisen in our Johannesburg Offices,we are seeking an experienced and skilled suitable individual as a Maintenance Team Leader.The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the achievement of daily, weekly and monthly planned outputs in compliance with defined company policies and procedures, within the Engineering department in the Chloorkop manufacturing plant . Maintain plant and building in good order Management of maintenance personnel Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Ensure maintenance and preventative maintenance programs are carried out and updated regularly Train all setters and keep records of testing both written and practical Co-ordinates all overtime and staff rosters to ensure maintenance coverage across shifts Manage quotations for engineering and maintenance departments Control contractors and sign-off work done Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or maintenance Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions. Adhere to internal HR procedures Internal customer communication and feedback Daily walk around and feedback process Attend production meetings to keep abreast with daily happenings Grade 12 NTC (Mechanical / Electrical Eng) 5 years of experience in maintenance leadership / related field Strong communication,problem-solving and decision making skills Proficient in Microsoft office (Word,Excel,Powerpoint )
