This banking giant is urgently looking for a phenomenal candidate to fill their recently vacated Management Accountant role for a 12 months period, to provide monthly statutory, regulatory and management reporting for a specified C&I business unit.
This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, applicable laws, codes and regulations amongst other things.

This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, applicable laws, codes and regulations amongst other things.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Cost containment: Demonstrate cost consciousness and awareness of personal contribution to costs and productivity
- Identify and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costs
- Risk and Compliance: Comply with and adhere to identified governance and compliance standards and escalate problems for investigation and resolution
- Provide timeous reports on operations, performance and audit findings
- Report on transactional activity progression
- Business information analysis
- Collect and analyse data to determine cost of business activities and report on results
- Analyse monthly budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls
As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.
The requirements:
Qualification:
- Bachelor of Accounting Honours Degree or equivalent (non-negotiable)
- CA(SA) qualification (preferable)
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years experience in a similar environment
- Knowledge accepted accounting practices and principles
Skills Required:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Ownership and accountability
