Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience working in a luxury lodge
- Previous experience in managing a lodge
- Must be very strong in administration
- Attention to detail
- Experience in managing a team
- Hands-on with guests
- A managerial background
- Must be a positive individual with problem-solving skills
- Very organised and meet deadlines
- Must be capable of working under pressure

- Strong communication skills
- Must have PrDP
- Must be FGASA guides or should be willing to work towards their FGASA guide qualifications.
Duties:
- FOH operations including reservations, bookings, check-in/out, scheduling of activities, and transfers.
- General computer literacy will be advantageous, but training will be provided on-site.
- Overseeing the F & B operation, including ordering, stock taking, menu planning, quality control, and service standards.
- Housekeeping and general management including supervising housekeeping staff, and room checks.
- Maintenance and garden supervision including large solar system operation, electric fence monitoring, water reticulation and general repairs and maintenance.
- Vehicle management, including scheduling of servicing, licencing etc.
- Guest liaison in the evenings on a rotational basis with other staff.
