Quantum Foods has a career opportunity at its Farming Operations for a Manager Farming Operations I Broilers to join their dynamic team. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager Farming Operations and will also be responsible for Managing operational procedures on the farm. The position will be based on Vrede farm, Klipheuwel, Western Cape. Responsible for managing all operational procedures on a broiler Farm Manage farm equipment,processes & overall budget activities Manage performance & development of staff Manage systems, procedures & administration tasks Optimize raw material stock Must have National Senior Certificate (Matric)/Certificate equivalent to Matric Must have a 3year Degree/National Diploma (Agricultural Animal Husbandry) Minimum of 3 - 4 years relevant poultry farming operations experience Poultry Broiler Experience will be advantageous Working knowledge of: Health & safety Regulations People Management & logistics planning Animal Welfare Bio-security procedures Computer Literate specifically MS programs Valid driver's license is mandatory Company housing is provided on the farm premises Weekend duties and Standby is mandatory Clear Criminal Record At Quantum Foods we are committed to Employment Equity and offer a competitive salary package and benefits.
