Zeminwe Recruitment Packhouse Degreening Sizer Budget Packing Quality BRC Staff Management Finance Logistics Paltrack Citrus Grapes Packhouse Manager Piketberg Citrus, Grapes RESPONSIBILITIES The position will be responsible for all aspects of the management of the pack house, including the fruit sizer and all aspects of production, systems, cold stores, degreening, staff, and quality management. Focus on production efficiency, quality specifications of fruit and fruit packing as well as the adhering to our fruit handling protocol. Optimisation of operational efficiencies Liaise with farms and suppliers re fruit volumes and quality Budgeting and cost control Packaging planning and scheduling Quality control and Food safety (BRC) Management of staff and manpower planning Relevant financial/ logistical administration (Paltrack) and recordkeeping Stock control and stock level management Matric with relevant tertiary qualification Background in the citrus/ table grape packing industry with minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role Technical / administrative background Must be willing to work irregular and long hours unique to the citrus/ grape packing industry
