MANAGER – DESIGN- PRODUCT DEVEOPMENT POSITION - CENTURION PTA JOB SPECIFICATION: Technically guide and support all the new product developments. The candidate should have experience of preparing / reviewing drawings using AutoCAD etc. To ensure completeness of NPD e.g. product design, trials, quotations and execution as per the customer required specifications. Support production department with regards to design & development related activities. Successful hand over all the NPD to production department for smooth operation runs. Be involved on new machinery layouts, trials, time studies and other product related activities. Running trial production on new machinery until handover and SOP implementation. Safe keeping of all the technical data records related to customer confidentialities. Lead activity of new production file creation, existing parts file corrections, including drafting and verification of process parameters with process improvement where needed. Regularly submit and support customer with reports needed by OEM's / Tier-1 / Tier-2 customers. Requirements Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in the field. Previous experience in OEM's Experience in PPAP, TAS, SPTT (Supplier part tract team)ect Preferably experience in the Rubber / Automotive Industry. Knowledge of Rubber and Plastic products. Knowledge of AutoCAD. Well versed with New Product Development. R55 000PM
