Reference: CPT000942-CL-1 My client, a Global Financial Services company, is currently looking to appoint an Accounting Manager – Shared Services. This position is based in Ebene, Mauritius and only accepting the applications of Mauritian citizens . The main purpose of the role is to manage the team and ensure delivery of relevant accounting services. Qualifications required: ACCA partially qualified is essential. ACCA fully qualified will be given preference. Skills and experience required: Attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. High numeracy skills and accuracy. Strong computer skills - working experience of Excel is essential. 5 years' experience in a similar role. Experience within the financial services industry will be given preference. Job description: Review information such as transactions, valuations, bookkeeping and accounting to ensure accuracy. Review financial statements. Preparation of trial balance and financial statements for complex entities within timeline prescribed. Review teams work to ensure quality is maintained and that services are delivered on time. Management of a high volume of work within strict deadlines, functioning as part of the wider client delivery team. Identifying areas where team may require further support / training and assisting with the delivery of this training. Escalate issues pertaining quality, delivery or required support on a timely basis. Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, all operational guidelines / polices / procedures / controls.
