Reference: CPT000943-CL-1 My client, a Global Financial Services company, is currently looking to appoint an Accountant – Shared Services. This position is based in Ebene, Mauritius and only accepting the applications of Mauritian citizens . The main purpose of the role is to perform responsibilities efficiently and to ensure that the team delivers the required services at a high standard. Qualifications required: Partially ACCA qualified. Skills and experience required: Attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. High numeracy skills and accuracy. Strong computer skills - working experience of Excel is essential. Experience within the financial services industry will be given preference. Job description: Maintenance of information including bank statements, transactions, valuations, bookkeeping, preparing the financials and pack or accounting records for a portfolio of clients. Raise and resolve any queries on a timely basis and liaise with other team members or the client to ensure timely resolution of matters arising within the required deadlines. Preparation of information for the client, which may include portfolio information, valuations, bookkeeping, trial balances or financial statements and/or liquidation account. Responsible for work on more complex entities. Actively participate in calls/meetings with the client to discuss matters arising and the tracking of work against deliverable schedule. Provide support to junior team members and the team Manager as and when required. Complete daily time sheets. Adhoc duties as deemed necessary by Management.
