Reference: CPT000944-CL-1 My client, a leading Global IT distributor, is currently looking to appoint an Financial Operations Accountant. This position is based in Mauritius and only accepting the applications of Mauritian citizens . The main purpose of the role is the daily finance operations of all shipments allocated. Qualifications required: University Undergraduate Degree (BCom Accounting/Finance/similar) University Post Graduate/Honours Degree is advantageous Excellent High School Results (2-5 distinctions and > 65% for Mathematics) Skills and experience required: Excellent command of English Detailed-driven Strong interpersonal skills Strong admin skills Solutions-driven and strong problem-solving ability Willingness to continuously learn Ability to adapt to change Job description: Daily finance operations of shipments; invoicing clients, processing invoices received from suppliers and overall cost management and profit maximisation. Receipt of cash and bank reconciliation Management of debtors and processing of payments Management of shipments from a finance perspective Liaise with various shipping providers, suppliers and clients Deal and build relationships with the number of new clients signed Adhoc duties working with the other financial controllers and managers Visit our website to see other opportunities.
