Job Title: Marketing Assistant

About Us: Join a dynamic and close-knit team working directly with our Marketing Manager. We're passionate about all aspects of marketing, from digital strategies to traditional media like print, radio, and TV.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Facebook (main page): create contact with design studio, upload content.
- Facebook (store pages): create contact with design studio – store specific and generic, help where needed. Be admin on all pages for support and advice.
- Coordinate TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms: create briefs, upload content, and monitor performance.
- Marketing Operations:
- Ensure accurate store details across location, banking, and utility platforms. Maintain up-to-date store locator, shop pages, and (GBL).
- Manage hyperlinking for promotional inserts.
- Execute SMS campaigns: clean data, load and send SMS messages, manage opt-outs, and provide campaign reports to stores.
- Execute Email campaigns: clean data, load and send emails, manage opt-outs, and provide campaign reports to stores.
- Manage DMX screens: Design briefing, content loading, and performance monitoring.
- Implement digital content planners monthly for main platforms. Load onto Dropbox for store as well as keeping Dropbox updated with fresh, relevant content.
- Develop copy for in-store radio promotions, adapting templates to suit campaign needs.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager on new store openings and additional marketing initiatives.
Skills Required:
- General understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
- Experience or exposure to print, radio, TV, email, and SMS marketing.
- Proficiency in managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms. Ability to set up pages, run paid campaigns, and monitor performance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of hand-on relevant experience in marketing roles.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Facebook, Meta, TikTok, Analytics, Google Ads, emails and SMSs).
- Previous experience in below-the-line agency is advantageous.
- Previous experience in retail marketing or a similar industry is advantageous.
