Qualification and Skills Requirements
- Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field.
- 3 5 years experience as marketing director.
- Marketing experience in the telecommunication sector is a bonus.
- Excellent leadership and organizing skills.
- Excellent excel and presentation skills a must.
- Deliver results within a defined time frame and strong sense of ownership.
- Passionate about new ideas, solving problems, and delivering results.
- Well-presented and neat.
- Proactive and pay attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to work well under pressure.
- Must have a valid drivers licence.
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitors offerings.
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the companys business activities.
- Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals.
- Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
- Plan and execute campaigns for promotion, launching of new product lines etc.
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitors marketing movements.
- Monitor progress and submit performance reports.
- Monitor project status and budget.
- Stay informed about changing advertising trends.
- Development of marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, and other departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers.
