A leading Pharmaceutical company is looking for a driven individual to lead strategy across product portfolios in the FMCG and pharmaceutical industries, as a member of the Commercial Leadership team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial. You MUST have 5 years of FMCG and/or OTC pharma products Marketing Manager experience to apply. Manage the OPEX (cost centers, profit centers, advertising TT, allocated A&P) for the portfolio as part of commercial leadership. Meet yearly fiscal revenue targets for the FMCG and pharmaceutical industries. Managing agency and business expectations; assisting in the development of brand and channel strategic objectives; approving marketing and channel spend per commercial objectives Approval of regulatory compliance submissions Support channel in preparing DOH submissions regarding product updates Manage channel strategy execution and customer conference planning. A strong sense of urgency in responding to customer inquiries; ongoing evaluation of strategy execution through on-the-ground visits; and cooperation with cross-functional teams, such as those in sales, product development, regulatory affairs, and art, to guarantee alignment and optimize marketing efficacy Oversee product launches and relaunches into the marketplace. Communicate with creative firms to create marketing collateral that is both above and below the line. Tertiary Qualification: Business / Marketing Degree 10 years of OTC pharmaceutical and FMCG experience Proven experience as a Marketing Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and business growth Demonstrated strategy implementation across Trade and Marketing functions Analytical and business acumen skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable marketing strategies Salary is market-related and negotiable, depending on specific industry experience, specific qualifications etc. A salary range of R900k to R1 million is envisaged for this position about R75k to R85k ctc p/m.
