Duties- Ensure that there are sufficient trucks in the warehouse for continuation of production.
- Constant communication with the control room.
- Ensure that there is a truck in readiness at the security check.
- Record all fleet numbers, their contents and load capacity communicate with management and control room.
- Liaise with the LC or on shift supervisor regarding trucks in the warehouse for the achievement of the hourly targets.
- All issues to be escalated to the relevant individuals for amicable solutions.
- Warehouse board to be updated on an hourly basis.
- Hourly reports to be sent to relevant individuals.
- Accurate recording of hourly statistics.
- Ensure all trucks have been accounted for, reports to be sent for unaccounted trucks.
- Timeous rerouting of trucks into correct bays.
- Ensure that all the organizational rules, laws, regulations, and policies either set down informally or formally are followed by all contractor drivers.
- Defaulters on safety issues must be issued with a non-conformance report and its evidence sent to the relevant people.
Skills- Excellent communication skills

- Must be able to walk from upstairs to warehouse throughout the day.

Desired Experience & Qualification- Matric
- A warehousing / logistics qualification will be at an advantage.
- 2-to-3-year experience in a warehousing environment
- Able to work shifts.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
