Minimum Requirements

1. At least 5 years of experience in a Master Planning role
2. Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical industry experience
3. Strong production and planning experience
4. ERP System experience
5. Advanced Excel
6. Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations Management (Post Grad / Honors qualification preferred)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing: Manage purchase orders for bulk finished goods, ensuring cost-effective acquisition from suppliers.
• Demand Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop a 2-year master plan for finished goods inventory, balancing supply with anticipated demand.
• Inventory Management: Implement material requirement planning (MRP) to optimize stock levels and prevent stockouts.
• Logistics Coordination: Schedule deliveries, liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders, and monitor shipments to ensure timely arrival.
• Cost Analysis & Optimisation: Analyze finished goods costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
