Key Responsibilities:The Mechanical CAD Draughtsman will be responsible for:

Designing mechanical structures and mechanisms as defined by the needs mandated through clients, projects, and stakeholders to achieve outputs that meet validated requirements.
Performing CAD designing activities in an efficient, proactive, and synergistic manner.
Designing and maintaining all CAD models developed within the organisation, following the standards defined by the Mechanical Engineering division or where otherwise approved.
Designing and implementing CAD designs while operating according to approved Industry Standards and other standards defined by its Centres of Excellence (CoE), including practices, principles, procedures, and supporting structures.
Producing mechanical design (CAD) solutions for Space and Ground segments of spacecraft engineering, including the development, testing, ground support equipment, assembly & integration, and production environments. Mechanical design solutions are produced per project need and required assignment.
Acting as a technical lead and contributor, responsible for performing and contributing towards a given Centre of Excellence. The organisations systems engineering standards are employed on all projects and work assignments.
