Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Technical Certificate N4 or Equivalent - Further studies preferred.
- SOLIDWORKS Expertise: Certified courses in SOLIDWORKS and advanced modelling mandatory.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in mechanical design and fabrication detailing.
- Knowledge in:
- 2D and 3D Modelling principles
- Mechanical equipment (e.g., Drum Filters, Gearboxes)
- Reporting design status
- Skills:
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and provide customer service.
- Collaborate with sub-suppliers and internal teams.
- Ensure design compliance with specifications.
- Produce and validate 2D and 3D drawings.
- Implement design changes and report progress.
- Provide technical leadership and support junior staff.
- Stay updated on manufacturing techniques and standards.
