The role focuses on developing and enhancing mechanical and piping designs for submerged arc furnace technology, providing technical support using CAD tools. Job Experience and Skills Required: Technical Certificate N4 or Equivalent - Further studies preferred. SOLIDWORKS Expertise: Certified courses in SOLIDWORKS and advanced modelling mandatory. Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience: Minimum 8 years in mechanical design and fabrication detailing. Knowledge in: 2D and 3D Modelling principles Mechanical equipment (e.g., Drum Filters, Gearboxes) Reporting design status Skills: Self-motivated, able to work under pressure Strong written and verbal communication Team player with good interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities: Conduct site visits and provide customer service. Collaborate with sub-suppliers and internal teams. Ensure design compliance with specifications. Produce and validate 2D and 3D drawings. Implement design changes and report progress.
