Our client, a leading Mechanical Engineering concern in Cape Town, is looking to appoint a Draughtsman who holds a B Tech Degree or a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 1 year 3D modelling and draughting experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating fabrication models from client drawings or models and creating shop details from those models. Creating fabrication ready models from client drawings / models. Create shop detail drawings from fabrication models. Creating DXF's, cutting lists and other deliverables from fabrication models. Liaising with project managers to determine fabrication requirements for modelling. Performing laser scanning on site. Merging and cleaning up of laser scans. Must have solid knowledge of Draughting and 3D Modelling At least 1 to 2 years' experience in Draughting and 3D Modelling preferably in a Mechanical Engineering environment. Qualification - B Tech or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Fluent in Afrikaans and English. Market Related
