A farm just outside of Port Shepstone is recruiting for Mechanical Fitter reporting to the Engineering Team Leader who has their N3 National Red Seal Qualification as a Fitter & Turner and 3-5 years of maintenance experience in heavy industry. Applicants should be able to work at heights and in confined spaces, and possess an excellent knowledge of chains, belt & roller conveyors; vacuum systems, pumps, and gearboxes. Duties will include performing preventative and breakdown maintenance in a processing plant; fault finding, repair, and maintaining heavy industry machinery; and previous experience working in an abattoir or meat/ poultry environment would be an advantage.
