Requirements:

Tertiary Qualification essential.
Experience in paper/pulp/steel will be advantageous.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes relevant to steel production.
Experience with failure analysis, reliability engineering, and predictive maintenance techniques.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and availability of mechanical equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Continuously monitor equipment performance and propose improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Lead or contribute to mechanical engineering projects related to equipment upgrades, modifications, or installations.
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors/vendors to ensure timely and successful project execution.
