We are looking for a talented and passionate qualified Mechanical technologist / technician with verifiable design and construction experience in the design, procurement and contract management of mechanical Infrastructure and building services projects. Work on projects in the municipal and private sector in terms of mechanical engineering services such as HVAC, fire and wet services, Work from feasibility and concept development stages of projects through to the detailed design and project execution, Working independently and as part of the team, working under pressure, setting goals and being self-driven & willingness to learn, Office space is an open plan and very communicative small office, Collaboration in an encouraging team environment Minimum Requirements: National diploma (Ndip) between 6-8 years working experience or, Bachelor's degree (BTech) with a minimum of 5 years working experience, Skilled knowledge with design software related to HVAC engineering services i.e. Carrier HAP, Valid driver's license with own reliable transport, willing to travel/drive within Western Cape. Registration with ECSA as Pr Tech or Pr Techni Eng will be an advantage (or eligible for registration) Sound interpersonal and good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Experience: Independent management and administrative abilities, Liaison with Client/Employer, Public Authorities, Project Teams and Executive Managers by attending design and client meetings, Competent at compiling cost estimates, bills of quantities, specifications, technical and procurement documentation and reports, Project and contract management of mechanical infrastructure and building services projects. Makes independent decisions by analysing facts and drawing own conclusions in order to solve difficult problems. Is responsible for the financial planning for Projects by compiling accurate revenue and capital estimates and budgets, for the project life span. Software Experience: Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP and similar software packages (Revit MEP experience will be beneficial) Knowledge and experience on how to integrate different software packages.
