Allocation of Stock
- To allocate stock according to scientific and demographic criteria.
- Ensuring optimal allocations based on units received and type of product to avoid over and under stocks in stores.
- To replenish stock according to store sales.
- To ensure stores do not run out of stock when stock is available.
- To ensure stores are not over stocked.
- To ensure stock is replenished timeously.
- To rectify uneven distribution of stock.
- To ensure optimal sales by ensuring stock in the correct stores.
- To ensure cost constraints are adhered to.
- Identify stock that needs to be marked down / promoted / repriced.
- Markdowns to be communicated to the relevant stores.
