Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery used in pet food manufacturing, including conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and processing equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions promptly to ensure continuous operation.
Fabricate and modify parts as needed to improve machine performance or resolve issues.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize processes and support new equipment installations.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial manufacturing setting, preferably within the food or pet food industry.
Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gears, and other mechanical components.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
