Reference: CPT003677-Jol-1 Have you completed your trade test? Do you have experience with vehicle diagnostics and mechanical repairs working on 4x4 overland vehicles? Our client in Epping requires your technical ability, dedication and high work ethic for fault finding and repairs on overland vehicles. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are a requirement. Your ability to do cost estimating and a solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles is needed for this role. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 plus valid qualifications Proven experience as auto mechanic technician preferably with 3 or more years workshop experience and diagnostic experience. Valid driver's licence & own vehicle Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Excellent physical condition Technician to have his own mechanical / diagnostic tools (preferred) DUTIES Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic system to repair, maintain and upgrade Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use Extensive client liaison Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job Keep logs of work and issues Maintain equipment and tools in good condition Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
