Reference: CPT003712-Jol-1 Do you have experience with vehicle diagnostic and mechanical repairs working on 4x4 and off road vehicles? Our client in Epping requires your relevant qualification and technical ability working on these types of vehicles. Your ability to strip motors and fault finding is essential. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are a requirement. Must be able to do cost estimating and have a solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 plus valid qualifications Proven experience as auto mechanic technician preferably with 3 or more years workshop experience and diagnostic experience. Valid driver's licence & own vehicle Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Excellent physical condition Technician to have his own mechanical / diagnostic tools (preferred) DUTIES Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic system to repair, maintain and upgrade Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use Extensive client liaison Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job Keep logs of work and issues Maintain equipment and tools in good condition Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
