My client, is a long-standing diversified Group of companies run by the 4th generational family in the retai operations sector. They pride themselves in providing a broad selection of quality and competitively priced products as well as exceptional customer service. Their Durban Head Office is looking for a competent and efficient MSS Clerk with 3 years retail system expeirence with SIGMA (MSS preferable). Key Responsibilities: Maintain product costs on Sigma as per supplier invoice / return received Import Spar DC updates, maintain products, and release updates to the stores Import Spar electronic invoices, maintain costs and new products and release updates to stores Ensure sales files from stores are imported to MSS Create Guild (DC) and Supatrade promotions as required before the start date Create promotions for stores as requested by store managers Create new products, sub-departments and departments on Sigma Check theoretical to actual cost variances on Sigma weekly and investigate reasons why from the stores Check Sigma for minus SOH on Sigma and communicate with the store Schedule monthly hazard counts Report on weekly hazard counts, engage with the store when variances are > R1000 to find reasons why Ensure products SP's are in line with the required GP targets Ensure products are in the correct sub-department Ensure all products on SOH have EAN codes where there is SOH Do GRV's/claims for stores as required Maintain costs and selling plus create new products Backup and EOD Daily GP monitor reporting Assist with Adhoc requests from the MSS Manager Assist with Adhoc requests/data checks from Admin Regional Able to investigate minus GP's on products Understand and check daily reports received Follow new processes and systems put in place WRT admins/systems Skills, Traits and Competencies: To maintain accurate product costing To optimise and maintain consistent selling prices and GP outcomes To enhance control over promotions To control and maintain consistent product information and sub-department allocation Work towards reaching deadlines Desired results Ability to work under pressure GP Driven Ability to handle high volumes of data High attention to detail and accuracy Accountable, responsible and detail orientated Respectful, Analytical, Good communication skills and a Team player Remuneration: R8000 (negotiable - dependent on skillset and experience) PLEASE NOTE: Kindly only apply should you feel that you have the criteria to fulfil this role.
