We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to grow, and work with a team of creatives to conceptualise and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate our clients' brand identities, positioning, and messaging on relevant social media platforms. Location: Johannesburg This exciting role is for a Digital Designer in our JHB office. In this role you will be required to conceptualise and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate our clients' brand identities, positioning, and messaging on relevant social media platforms. Responsibilities: Full understanding of various social media platforms including nuances and design specs Working within an existing global CI and implementing according to these guidelines Interact with other agency teams/ divisions to develop creative concepts Understand how social media works: from consumer journey through to image limitations and formats Keep up to date on what trends are happening on social Ensure consistency and integration of design across all communication channels Responsible for seeing the idea through the creative process to final sign off Work to brief and show understanding and relevance to the target market Develop your professional skills on a daily basis Ability to edit video or basic animation skills for social media is beneficial Personality: Solution orientated Curious Comfortable in a high performance, fast-paced environment Open and active team player Great communicator Trustworthy A can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile, including work after-hours as needed. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification; diploma or degree As this role is for a Digital designer, please provide a robust portfolio of creative work demonstrating conceptual ability and creative problem, specifically within the social media and digital space.
