Our client in the Agricultural Industry, requires the services a proactive and confident, OHSS Manager to join their team. Key performance areas: Develop and implement the group's OHSS compliance framework in alignment with relevant regulatory standards, organisational policies and the requirements of the business' key stakeholders Monitor, investigate and review Health, Safety and security incidents and recommended improvements to relevant stakeholders Deliver in collaboration with stakeholders, educational programs on workplace health and/or safety & security Develop, implement and maintain an accurate and up to date data management system regarding OHSS activities Plan, coordinate and monitor the implementation of annual OHSS activities and systems in collaboration with teams at various sites Manage and oversee the implementation of the occupational health and safety risk management processes and continuously identify and mitigate potential risks or hazards Collaborate with relevant on-site personnel to continuously improve Health &Safety management processes and systems Plan, coordinate and monitor the implementation of annual OHSS activities and systems in collaboration with teams at various sites The successful candidate must have: Matric with a National Diploma, BTech or relevant tertiary qualification At least 10 years' experience in a OHS role OHS, SHEQ or equivalent occupational health and safety certifications would be advantageous Experience in managing the security of assets and personnel will be advantageous Must have strong time and project management skills Excellent at building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across all levels of business Must be able to work independently as a functional expert Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word & Excel) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Please note that only short listed candidates will be contacted.
