OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / PROPERTY MANAGERESS - PIETERMARITZBURG - Pietermaritzburg

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / PROPERTY MANAGERESS for a well-established concern based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Accounting / bookkeeping qualification/s an added advantage (not essential).

Clear understanding of accounting practice.

English / Afrikaans speaking person (person must be able to speak, read and write English competently).

Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Person will be required to travel between the Pietermaritzburg and Howick branches.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Competent skills on MS Word and MS Excel.

Previous working experience on Sage Pastel Partner.

Person will be required to complete general run-a-round duties for collection and delivery of documents and other goods.

Technically minded.

Strong communication skills.

Knowledge of property management: maintenance of buildings and grounds.

Supervision of maintenance team, liaising with management.

Knowledge of SA Legal System for property rental related matters.

Liaison with existing tenants, estate agents as well as directly with potential clients.

Knowledge of lease agreements and property letting, both commercial and residential.

Knowledge of labour laws and occupational health and safety and administration requirements for submissions of (and not limited to) Workmen's Compensation, IOD, UI19's, disciplinary procedures, CCMA.
