Our Company in Johannesburg is seeking an individual to join our team as an Operations and Quality / Maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control processes, maintenance experience and operations experience. We are expecting you to be organized and have good time management skills as well as with strong general repair skills. To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic's tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Operations and Quality Responsibilities: Monitor General operations of the factory. Develop and implement quality control procedures for all products. Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards. Coordinate with production teams to address any quality issues. Monitor and analyse data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement. Train and educate staff on quality control procedures. Maintain documentation and records related to quality control processes. Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective actions as needed. Maintenance Responsibilities: Check, attend and Fix Breakdowns on Machines Conduct regular maintenance on machinery and systems Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems. Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades. Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machines. Monitor Cleanliness of facilities regularly Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work To provide efficient and effective caretaking support to the site, including ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained. Regularly check external and internal areas for any potential danger to people on site. Literacy and Numeracy skills sufficient to check delivery notes, measurements. Requirements: Matric/Grade 12. Any Maintenance Background would be beneficial. 2 years Maintenance or related. 2 years of experience in quality control/assurance roles. Food Safety, Quality, HACCP knowledge would be beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexibility. Timekeeping. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of quality control standards and regulations.
