Operations Coordinator - Paarl
This position is an ideal opportunity for a dynamic, energetic individual to join a high energy, small team of professionals. The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the full operations function (stock, logistics, distribution). Since there are no personnel reporting to this position, the incumbent will be responsible for both the intricate and mundane duties in the division (from stock taking to formal reporting).
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Manage stock and equipment
- Request the ordering of stock
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and clients (national and international)
- Coordinate transport and distribution (and relevant documentation)
- Keep the stock recordkeeping system accurate and up to date
- Do stock takes
- Reporting
The ideal candidate has the following knowledge, experience, and skills:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience in a similar position (recommendation)
- Knowledge of and experience in the medical industry (recommendation)
- Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent planning, organisational, prioritising and coordination skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English)
- Highly adaptable
- Drivers licence and own transport (Code 10 license is a recommendation; or the willingness to obtain a Code 10 licence
