Luxurious Lodge in the Ngorongoro Crater is looking for a female Operations Manager to Support General Management in overall responsibility for the effective management and running of the Lodge. This is a permanent live-in position, based at the lodge in Tanzania. It is an exciting position to grow in this industry with the assistance and leadership of the Assistant and General Manager. Experience required: At least 3 years of Management Experience in a 5-star LODGE Hospitality and Service Training Experience Hospitality degree beneficial Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staff Previous experience in a five-star operation People management beneficial Duties include: Support General Management in overall responsibility for the effective management and running of the Lodge. To ensure the lodge and brand are taken to the next level of service standards Assist the Hospitality Manager with the day-to-day management of the Lodge and all the back-of-house departments Work alongside the Management team in conducting evening hosting Overall responsibility for implementing service and hospitality training plan Oversee and develop guest activities, including bush banqueting Work with the Hospitality Manager on requirements around operational stock orders, planning and timely orders Ensure communication between front of House and Back of House Along with the Hospitality Manager, oversee Room Checks and work with Housekeeping to ensure that standards are maintained and exceeded Work directly with the head of housekeeping, butlers, camp managers and Management team to ensure Lodge and Service standards are always maintained Responsible for maintaining F&B standards, wine knowledge and training, with the support of the Hospitality Manager Daily meeting with Heads of Department to discuss the daily plan, including arrivals, departures, special requests, bush banqueting Hosting agents and media, group bookings and events Support service delivery and training The post Operations Manager Tanzania appeared first on freerecruit.co.za .
