a leading residential and light commercial solar company operating in South Africa, is seeking a talented and experienced Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Configuration Owner to join our team. Reporting directly to the Product Director, the CRM Configuration Owner will be responsible for optimising key workflows of our CRM tools, and providing trainings to internal users. This role involves ensuring deployment, configuring the field service application, configuration of sales CRM, approving and deploying customer engagement notifications, and overseeing the schedule of new developments. The CRM Configuration Owner plays a crucial role in driving efficient and effective process solutions that enhance customer experience and support the growth of our business Identify key areas of opportunity and risk across processes within our application software, conducting comprehensive analysis and assessments to drive continuous improvement. • Ensure deployment at scale, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver a seamless and user-friendly application experience. • Configure the field service and installation app, ensuring its full functionality and alignment with business processes and customer needs. • Configure the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and CMS (Content Management System) platforms, optimizing customer engagement and data management processes. • Approve and deploy customer and team notifications, collaborating with marketing and customer success teams. • Collaborate with 3rd party contractors and vendors to ensure successful integration and implementation of software solutions. • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of new features, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cybersecurity and privacy standards. • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external partners, addressing any software-related issues and troubleshooting as necessary. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously evaluating and implementing innovative solutions. • Document and maintain accurate records of development processes, configurations, and version control. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer support, to drive successful software deployments and continuous improvement initiatives. • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. • Proven experience managing processes, and optimising for user experience. • Experience in configuring CRM and CMS platforms, preferably in a customer-focused environment. • Solid understanding of user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies, quality assurance, and debugging techniques. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and propose effective solutions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. • Project management skills, with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results. • Knowledge of data privacy and security principles in software applications. • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously. • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering solutions that align with business requirements and user needs.
