Job Description

Your duties will encompass:

  • Execute on the approved service standards applicable to the company department that foster a customer centric environment.
  • Support the implementation of company systems and structures that ensure delivery in line with the legislative framework and organizational objectives.
  • Support company leadership and conduct administrative department activities for staff members as required.
  • Receive office visitors and direct them to the appropriate parties.
  • Handle basic office tasks such as filing, delivering mail, answering emails and phone calls, and data entry within company.
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare documents, presentation materials, and facilities for meetings.
  • Conduct the ordering, storing and distributing of office supplies.
  • Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service.
  • Attend meetings and present findings and business cases to relevant stakeholders when required.
  • Ensure the mitigation of the departments risk profile for the application of fraud controls and risk prevention principles and implementing of sound governance and compliance processes and tools to identify and manage risks.
  • Support and provide evidence to all internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, policies and Standard Operating Procedures within scope of control.
Qualifications
  • Matric.
  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
Skills
  • Minimum 3 Years relevant Administrator experience.
  • 2 Years experience within Fire Services, Engineering or technical environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
