PANEL BEATER

Role Objective:
To repair vehicles and trucks that require panel beating to the highest standard of repair, understanding that turnaround time and quality is critical.

Main Responsibilities:

Strip and access damage.
Ensure job card is correct regarding damage and repairs that needs to be undertaken.
Advise Workshop Manager of requirements
Applying discretionary expertise to repair versus replacement.
Signing for all new parts from store.
Have new parts painted.
Fitting all parts, to the required level of expertise, to the vehicle understanding that quality control is built into the repair process.
Discussing delays with the /Workshop Manager
Working overtime if required.
Ensure safety and health issues are addressed and maintained.
Clean and assist with general workshop housekeeping.
Attend departmental meeting to ensure effective communication
Provide feedback to Workshop Manager
